Ventana Foundation (VF), a social and environmental responsibility group, is committed to creating a better future for all. Education is a fundamental right for every child, but many underprivileged children lack access to basic education. VF's latest initiative aims to bridge this gap by donating books and supplies to multiple students from different schools.

It all began in June 2022, when Sharath, a VF team member, received requests from his neighborhood watchman and security staff to help provide books for children in their social circle. Sharath quickly reached out to VF's team, and they immediately started sourcing the required books. However, they wanted to do more than just provide books. They realized that many of these children come from families who cannot afford basic supplies like bags and umbrellas, which are essential during the monsoon season.

VF's team quickly procured bags and umbrellas along with the books and organized a program in a Society hall in Kadiyali, Udupi, where kids from different schools were invited to receive the donated materials. For some children, the materials were provided in their respective school premises like Kakkunje Aided School and Nittur Aided Higher Primary School. Additionally, the schools added a few more names from their end, and the VF team was happy to provide the necessary supplies to these additional children as well.

The schools appreciated this gesture and conveyed their gratitude to VF's team. They mentioned that they would reach out to the VF team for any of their future requirements. This initiative not only provided educational materials to underprivileged children but also helped build a strong bond between VF and the local schools.

VF's larger vision is to ensure that every child has access to basic education, regardless of their socio-economic status. They believe that education is the key to unlocking a better future and providing opportunities for a better life. VF is committed to making a positive impact on society and is continuously exploring innovative ways to do so.
