Ventana Foundation has recently contributed INR 3,00,000 to Ninada Charitable Trust to support their healthcare initiative in Gangolli. The trust, which has been operating for over 15 years, primarily focuses on music and social causes and has set up a clinical laboratory and diagnostic center (Saaketa) in Trasi to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to the economically backward, aged, and bedridden.

VF's contribution to Ninada Charitable Trust is part of its larger mission to collaborate with other similar organizations to promote healthcare in rural parts of our region. Shylaja and Ravindra, representatives from VF, visited the Gangolli Collection Centre in September 2022 to witness the impact of Ninada Charitable Trust's healthcare initiative. They were impressed by the noble cause carried out by the Trust and decided to donate INR 3,00,000 to support the underprivileged people of the rural society to have access to a better health facilities.

The Saaketa Clinical Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre set up by Ninada Charitable Trust caters to the healthcare needs of the rural population, especially the aged, bedridden, and economically backward people. The diagnostic center is well-equipped with all types of equipment and has been set up with donations from various sponsors. The Trust has around 15 trustees who come from good social backgrounds and support the Trust on its initiatives. Many of them are also doctors, which has helped in setting up the diagnostic setup and the collection centers.

The Gangolli Center is one of the several centers that the Trust operates, and it has already provided healthcare services to more than 4,000 patients from rural areas by the end of 2022. The collection centers provide home services, which is especially beneficial for patients who are unable to visit the diagnostic center in Trasi. The prices are also set at an affordable rate in comparison to larger hospitals and clinics, making it accessible to the economically backward sections of society.

Apart from healthcare, the Ninada Charitable Trust also focuses on music and social causes. It organizes cultural and musical programs and has been organizing music and instrumental classes in Gangolli for the last 20 years, despite being cash negative for 12 years. It has also undertaken a mega project of cow care on a five-acre land near Gangolli, which is currently in the purchase stage. This is a multi-crore project, and the Trust is seeking sponsors for it. Once the land is purchased, the Trust intends to have all the cows placed there for good maintenance and care.

Ventana Foundation's contribution to Ninada Charitable Trust's healthcare initiative is a step towards promoting accessible and affordable healthcare in rural India to the underprivileged sections of society, along with its efforts in music and social causes. With our support, we hope the Trust can continue its noble cause and improve the lives of people in our region.
